Taekwondo is a Korean martial art known for its dynamic kicks, striking, and strong emphasis on discipline and respect. At Fakhoury Academy Of Taekwondo, students of every age build self-defense skills, focus, and physical fitness while progressing through the belt ranks at their own pace.
We welcome children as young as 4 in our Juniors program, which is built around their attention span and energy. From there, students move into our Kids classes (ages 6-11) and on to our Teen and Adult Taekwondo (12 and up) as they grow.
Not at all. The vast majority of our students walk in with zero martial arts background. Every class meets you where you are, and Kevin and Alex break each technique down step by step so beginners feel comfortable from day one.
Just come in comfortable athletic clothes you can move in, like a t-shirt and shorts or sweatpants. Taekwondo is practiced barefoot, so no special shoes are needed. Once you join, we'll get you set up with a proper uniform.
